Sales Manager

AUGWIND is a public technology company that provides multiple solutions in the fields of energy storage and efficiency of compressed air systems. We are looking for a dynamic professional to lead its sales activities in the industrial German market.

This position will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new opportunities for increasing the energy efficiency of air compressors at industrial plants throughout Germany. The role will be filled by an individual with a deep knowledge of the industrial sector including, but not limited to, air compressors, energy service companies, energy auditors, and energy policy (general and/or specific to energy efficiency). The ability to critically generate multiple leads with industrial plants, as well as strong communication skills with C-level or plant engineers/managers, are essential. A basic understanding of air compressors is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Over 10 years’ experience of selling to the industrial sector or companies servicing the industry 

  • Strong communication skills

  • Dynamic, highly motivated with a strong work ethic to succeed with the implementation of a new technology in the German market

  • Able to work independently; consistently solve complex problems to move projects forward 

  • Wide networking and contacts within the German industrial sector

  • BS/BA. MBA is preferred 

  • Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred

  • Languages: Fluent in German and English
